The KASE Variable ND filter is a variable neutral density filter that allows you to exposure in any light situation, KASE have two diferrent filters to do this:
- KASE Variable 2-5 stops
- KASE Variable 6-9 stops
KASE decides to create 2 filters to obtain the highest quality in all the steps, a variable filter with an aperture of 10 stops will inevitably produce vignetting and an unwanted X effect. The intensity of the density is easily controlled by rotating the outer ring, making a smooth density transition allowing the photographer or videographer to adjust the exposure exactly to the amount required by the scene.
It is ideal for those who use filters on their film or video cameras, combining the aperture setting with this filter will allow you to fine-tune the depth of field while maintaining the "frame rate".
