What is a Graduated ND Filter?

Mainly a gradient filter will help us to compensate for two areas of the scene that we want to capture which have a notable difference in light between them, the most typical example would be a photo on the beach where we have an area with a lot of reflected light (sea) and another where there is not so much bounce of light (sand), these two areas have a great difference in light paths, causing that depending on where we focus, we always obtain an overexposed part (white) and another underexposed area (black).
